On September 21, the Kingston community came together to support the Inclusive Play Project at a BBQ fundraiser hosted by Giant Tiger! From 11 AM to 3 PM, supporters gathered at Giant Tiger Kingston West (656 Gardiners Rd) and Giant Tiger Kingston Central (813 Princess St) to enjoy a delicious $5 combo, with every dollar raised going toward creating accessible playgrounds in Kingston. Thanks to the generosity of Giant Tiger, who donated all the food, and United Rentals, who provided the BBQ equipment, 100% of the proceeds directly benefited the Inclusive Play Project.
The event was brought to life by the incredible motionball volunteers who ran the fundraiser, making it a true community effort. In addition to the BBQ, both Kingston Giant Tiger locations held a ‘Round Up’ donation campaign from September 13-22, inviting shoppers to round up their purchases to further support inclusive play spaces in our community.
