Halloween Village

On Sunday, October 27, 2024, the Kingston community came together for the inaugural Kingston Treat Accessibly Halloween Village on Purcell Crescent, organized by Jessica Hellard and her team at the Jessica Hellard Real Estate Group - RE/MAX Finest Realty. This event transformed the neighborhood into a haven of inclusivity, featuring decorated homes, accessible treat stations with both edible and non-edible treats, a DJ, face painting, appearances by Batman and the Batmobile, and other costumed entertainers.

Thanks to the incredible support from the Kingston community, including over 30 participating homeowners, dedicated volunteers, and numerous local businesses and community members, the event raised $915 for the Inclusive Play Project. This contribution brings Kingston closer to establishing its first fully inclusive playground, ensuring that children and adults of all abilities can enjoy play together.
